(More customer reviews)I had the GE/Thompson Skype phone before, and the Linksys skype phone before that. The Linksys was a pain and needed the computer to be on and to be plugged into a USB. It also messed up the audio settings on my laptop. The GE was pretty good until it stopped working after 2 weeks. I have since read nothing but horror stories about the GE breaking down. But the RTX has been fantastic! I travel out of the country a lot and this phone is great. I can call home from anyplace I can get an internet connection and it sounds like they are right next door. Highly recommended!
