cons: after my third machine arrived defective, i have given up. no matter which button i press on this device, it will NOT toast my bread. i can't believe such a reputable company would turn out a machine that is so easily defective. the PURPOSE of a toaster is to toast. i'm starting to think they didn't intend to make a toaster at all! i would say that this manufacturer needs to go back to the kitchen, re-assess their priorities, and come up with a simple machine that actually works.
sidenote: i find it odd that they would make "hard drive" shaped burn plates. i don't know what a hard drive is, but this thing looks like it would make darth vader shaped burn marks in my bread and i think they'd get a lot more sales if it did.
