I ordered 5 of these for hooking various components from my home theater up to my router which is also near my AV gear. The actual cables received were Cat 6 spec which exceeded the advertised Cat5e and were APC brand name patch cables. VERY cheap price. Very satisfied with cable performance.

This cable will work with phones like the EnV3, but "this cable is not recommended for this phone" according to the phone screen when you use it to charge the phone. Additionally the plug is a little tight fitting into the phone. Could be an issue later down the road if it doesn't fit well.
Shipped quick though and reasonably priced.

Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 Cell Phone with 3G, 3.2 MP Camera, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, MicroSD - International Version with No Warranty (SILVER) Review

Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 Cell Phone with 3G, 3.2 MP Camera, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, MicroSD - International Version with No Warranty (SILVER)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This is by far the best cell phone out there currently. I bought this phone about a week ago and was waiting for it for some time, but the wait was worth it.
The phone has many excellent features, such as:
o Multi band covering the whole world
o Full communication suite (BT, wireless, push email, Internet...) that is easy to setup
o Nice touch screen and nice panels, which can be developed by a normal user
o Office tools and applications
o and many more
Its features are better than many cell phones such as the HTC diamond, which is comparable to it, and is always said that this is an imitation of it. Moreover, it runs great and flawlessly.
The couple of things that I would like to be better are the speaker phone function, it just needs to be a little bit louder, and the multimedia player that comes with it, but again you can always buy third party applications that can cover all types of audio and video.
I'm extremely happy with the phone and recommend it to anybody and everybody.

Hewlett Packard Jornada 680 Handheld PC Review

Hewlett Packard Jornada 680 Handheld PC
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
If you shlep a heavy laptop on trips just to get your email, do a little bit of web browsing or write some notes, this is for you. You just put the Jornada in your pocket or briefcase and attach the phone cable to its handy built in modem. The battery lasts so long (sometimes 8 hours) that you can travel for several days without even taking the power adapter. The whole system weighs only about 1 lb. The keyboard is OK but might be problematic if you have fat fingers.
Although you can download Word or PowerPoint documents from your desktop and carry them around, the graphics are not good enough for technical presentations. However if you use mainly plain text and your PowerPoint presentations are mainly big pie charts and so on, this is another great feature. I found out that HP sells a VGA adapter card for the Jornada. This little plug in card lets you download your MS PowerPoint presentation into the little travel computer and then output it to a VGA monitor or projector with graphics up to 768x1024. So not only can I carry the Jornada on trips to get my email, but I can also download my presentation (up to about 16 MB) and output it to the client's projector or monitor. Since the presentation comes from the computer's memory, it is very fast. Great!

I do not recommend purchasing from this company, BARGAIN CELL. The merchandise (CD) was mailed to me in a plastic wrap envelope (NO BUBBLE WRAP for protection) It took about 15 days to receive the damaged goods. I telephoned company and they said they would send another CD free of charge to me within 72 business hours - here it is two weeks later and I still don't have it. What a rip off. I will continue calling this company until I either receive a full credit or receive free CD. Very unhappy. I can't believe Amazon does business with this company.

SMC7004AWBR Barricade Cable/DSL router w/ 3-port 10/100Mbps, Print Server, and 802.11b 11Mbps Access Point Review

SMC7004AWBR Barricade Cable/DSL router w/ 3-port 10/100Mbps, Print Server, and 802.11b 11Mbps Access Point
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This product was my first attempt at any type of home networking and I had never used a wireless router before. I was very interested in the wireless capability since I mostly use a notebook computer through a DSL connection. Before when I used the computer I was forced to do so in a specific corner of the room so that I was close enough to the phone line that the DSL modem was connected to. Besides the phone cable, there was the ethernet cable running from the modem to the computer, the modem power cable with huge wall wart, a printer cable and printer power cord. It was a mess. The SMC allowed me to move this whole mess into a desk unit, hidden away from sight. In all it took me about an 1/2 hour to install the SMC, connect it to my DSL modem (I did so first through the wired connection to my computer), install the print server and then the SMC wireless card. Without any prior experience the installation went smoothly and without any problem at all. The print server works like a dream and all the documentation, while not extensive, was enough to lead me through all the needed steps. I also connected one of the wired ports to my wife's MAC (I'm PC) and had her using the same DSL connection in about 5 more minutes. I haven't tried to print with the MAC through the server yet, but the documentation says it is possible, but not a supported feature. For me it would just be a bonus to be able to use the same printer for MAC and PC, but the router itself is worth it's weight in gold. I even found that my DSL connection seemed faster when routed through the SMC. The wireless performance is nothing short of amazing and although I do have spots in the house where the performance fails, it works everywhere I need it to. I found just by adjusting the position of the unit and the antenna you can make a connection even in the difficult spots. For the price I couldn't find a better rated unit with this many features and I am please to have purchased it. It's one of those things you say to yourself, "why didn't I do this sooner."

This was a really decent product outperforming some other 24 port routers that are heavy industrial routers. It transfeered a GB to two systems using Gigabit networking in less than 2 minutes! It is very light and sturdy even though you might think it will break if you drop it. Every port works and the crossover port worked as well.
Recommend every small business buy it especially if they are in the technology industry.

Dell Latitude 100-L laptop Review

Dell Latitude 100-L laptop
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I have owned the 1.8 P4 version for 2 years and I am considering buying one just to have should anything happen to this one. Even by today's standards this is a very good laptop. The ONLY drawback is that there is only 1 USB port and it is 1.1 but that is very easily solved with a $15 PCMCIA card with USB 2.0 ports. This is not a "gamer" laptop but it is a serious workhorse that you can adapt in so many ways to your needs that you can't with most even today. For example, if you tend to need more battery time than the DVD drive (I upgraded my CD to a DVD burner) then just pop out the DVD and pop in an extra battery. Or like in my case I wanted more hard drive so I bought a 100 gig to replace the main hard drive and by doing a little surfing online I found a parts place that sells an enclosure for a second hard drive that fits perfectly into the DVD slot, so since I do not need the DVD very often I have another 100 gig drive in most of the time, how cool is that!? Add to that that it has S video out, vga out plus a keyboard port in case you prefer a regular keyboard when at home. The video is a respectable 32 meg ATI and I have run some games and applications that were not suppose to be able to run on it according to specs. This laptop only accepts 1 gig total memory but under XP that is fine and will keep you moving along smoothly. I ordered mine with the wireless networking card (802.11b but you can buy very cheaply a G card that will go right in to replace the B card or if yours doesn't come with a card you can add one VERY cheaply) and the speeds are so close to my G PCMCIA card that I use the B card built into mine with my G router.
When you really look at just what your getting for a comparable price these days, for everything this one is capable of I cannot recommend grabbing one of these enough, it is sturdy, nice size screen (14.1) and just an overall feeling of confidence in this laptop because it "feels" durable. When these were brand new I'm told you could not by them as an individual as they were only meant for business purchasers.
Bottom line: you want something worth the money this is it no question. Admittedly I put another $200 into mine but that was all upgrades to the memory and DVD and adding another hard drive. As it comes it is an awesome deal in today's market will run rings around many laptops in the same price range.
In case you missed it through all the techie talk, buy this laptop!

Panasonic KX-FLB801 All-in-One Flatbed Laser Fax Review

Panasonic KX-FLB801 All-in-One Flatbed Laser Fax
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I went into this with a good feeling about Panasonic. I owned a KPX1138 dot matrix back in the day and it lasted nine years. My last printer was the Brother 8300 MFC laser. When I shop for laser I look for the cost of the toner vs. the output. So many have only 2000pgs and this one went with 6000 which is right there with the Brother. I avoided the Brother because of reviews on this site about thin plastic breaking, with several customers.
So, we get this Panasonic and try printing some pages, the very first of which are "wavy" at the top. You know how the heat and rollers of laser printers can make paper curl a little, well imagine waves, five of them at the top. This isn't being picky, the pages were not presentable unless as an art project with 3d elements.
So the service department said to fax them the damaged pages, yea, I know, either through the roller or on the flat bed these weren't going to show up, but they argued, so I did. No response, so I called back the next day and talked a women into letting me send a jpeg from a digital camera. Then I called back and they hadn't the received the pics, but it was the third call about the same problem, which meant they wanted to send a new, (refurbished) unit to me. I figured I would bite the bullet on that, my boss wanted to print some large docs and I just wanted this to work. They sent the refurbished unit, and it did look new and yet the same wavyness was there in the printed pages, but in a lesser form. (Yes I was using the required weight and cotton content paper.)
I suggested that maybe it was the drum, they said it couldn't be and sent another unit. I was still holding onto the original in the case that I might return it to Amazon. The third unit was not properly refurbished, scratches on the LCD panel and smears on the front as well as a missing piece, but at this point I didn't care, as long as it worked, but it didn't, at all, nothing.
Three strikes, time to try out Amazon's return policy, which is great, I printed the free return mailing label on our inkjet and brought it to UPS and though it was over, except DHL showed up this morning, with another replacement. I sent it back unopened.
Anyone know of a good dependable Laser/Fax/Scanner with decent volume printing on reasonably priced toner cartridges? Or am I looking for a mythological beast in a cold corporate world?
