New Accessories Moshi Classic Alarm Clock High Quality Practical Excellent Performance Review

(More customer reviews)I like the looks of this alarm clock and Voice Recognition is a cool technology, no doubt.
But the developers missed two major things:
- the clock not support 24 hour mode -- how difficult could that possibly be?? (very easy)
- the clock does now adjust time automatically as an atomic clock!
I think these are two MUST HAVE features! (I returned my Moshi) - a third thing to fix would be Celsius instead of Fahrenheit temp display (very easy to implement)I think the developers were pretty short-sighted. Had they built those features in, the clock would have been perfect, and they could have sold it world-wide.
Without those features, it's just a poorly implemented and overpriced clock.

I found Computer Geeks completely unresponsive, and it took most of a weekend searching the net to finally find that the only thing available was generic chipset drivers from Oxford Semiconductors. (More customer reviews)If D-link considers this switch industrial grade they are sadly mistaken. Purchased this unit 1 year ago and it performed flawlessly 24x7 use in my data center. Now the unit burns out a power supply (internal) and is dead taking down our internet connection.
Anyone considering a robust, quality, built to last industrial/commercial grade switch better avoid this one!
D-link quality is terrible, nothing but junk as the are cheaply built in China and/or Taiwan. Avoid D-link.

2 meter Category 6 Ethernet Patch Cable Black - this is better data quality than cat5e Review

Product comes in a plastic shell - be very very careful that you don't drop this puppy. Came with a CD (useless). Hardcoded default class C mask 255.255.255.0
Good:
Came with a very helpful single page quick start guide. Web browser configuration made this set up really painless and quick. Although package do not state much, this does pack a bunch in a small size.
My Experience:
I updated the firmware from the manufacturer's web. Then selected default security setting to block off unwanted probing. Then I went to port scanning... This ... is STEALTH! Nada! Zilch! It doesn't even respond to SYN-flood! What a firewall! This puppy works as screening router! Configured VPN (if you have static IP this really helps) to office, and what a difference from dial-up! And cloned MAC address on existing proxy server. Woww, this one rocks!
My PCs at home are on Win98SE, 2000, XP, Netware, and SMB on Linux. I wired one port to my switch using uplink port and other one to HP laser printer's MMIO card. All assigned DHCP and DNS from this small box! And I was able to customize DHCP and DNS ranges. Defined web server in the DMZ and enabled honeypot for those crackers out there.
I'd be surprised if someone hacks my Apache box now.

Zonet KVM3002 2-Port KVM Switch ( KVM3002 ) Review

(More customer reviews)This KVM works as expected except for two problems. Sometimes the mouse will stop working for me as if I was to unplug and the replug the mouse from the machine. I guess there is a slight glitch in the electrical connection when the KVM switches between computers. It's really annoying because when this happens you must reboot the computer to get the mouse functionality back. Also, this KVM beeps a couple of times when you switch between computers. I have not been able to turn this feature off and I would rather just have a silent KVM switch. But, it isn't a complete piece of crap. Most of the time it does it's job ok.
Also note that the KVM does not come with a power supply. Theoretically it can draw all of it's power from the PS/2 keyboard connection of the computers. But, in practice I've found that not all computers are able to deliver enough power. You may have to buy a 5V-9V DC power adapter of your own, I did.
