(More customer reviews)I bought two of these switches, one for a client and one for myself. The cheap price is the good side of the story. Although the switch does the job both of the ones I bought are producing a very annoying wistling noise, which is not a good match for a home network, unless you can stick it somewhere far away from your workspace, so the noise doesn't bother you.

(More customer reviews)Bought one of these for under $15. I have a powerline Ethernet adapter connected to my router. On the other end of the second powerline adapter (which uses your house electrical wiring), I connected this switch. To the switch, I connected my DirecTV DVR and also an Ethernet to USB adapter to connect to my series 2 TiVo (which only has a USB connection). Everything works perfectly. No configuration needed (obviously, couldn't do it when connecting to non-computer devices). It just works. Both the DirectTV DVR and TiVo DVR work fine, simultaneously!
