(More customer reviews)One of our local ISPs is constantly having problems with their system. Our internet connection would drop and the only fix was to manually power cycle the DSL modem. We started looking at IP power switches hoping find a way to power cycle the modem without driving in at 2:00am in our PJs and bedhead.
We ran across this item and thought we would give it a try. This device can be configured to "ping" our ISPs router and if the router stops responding after so many attempts it will automatically power cycle the modem. Now when the internet feed breaks this device will automatically detect and correct the problem.
Worth its weight in gold and has already paid for itself in saved labor costs.
