(More customer reviews)I bought this modem because they said it would work with Windows 98. I just use the internet to check mail and read news, which was perfect for my old computer. However, when installing it said I didn't have the right version of Windows 98, even though I had previously put all updates from Microsoft on my machine. The error message said I needed to download the updates from the internet, but how could I do that, if I couldn't connect to the internet. My old modem broke. I used my account elsewhere to make the purchase.
I had to update my machine.
Won't buy from them again.
