(More customer reviews)I have a Zoom X6v too, and I was having difficulties setting up VoIP too. It was very frustrating. It seemed like some of the menus for configuring the VoIP system were missing or incomplete. I finally called tech support, thinking that the product was defective and they told me I had to log in as an Administrator.
The default admin login/password is: admin/zoomadsl
After logging in as an administrator, the VoIP setup page was exactly what I expected to see in the first place! Since I was able to set up the entire DSL modem and router with the non-administrator login, I never suspected that an admin login even existed!
My experience with tech support was great. The wait was not long, even though I called in the afternoon. And the tech support guy was efficient, courteous, and knowledgeable.
The fact that I had to call tech support costs this product one star. Not that the product was defective, but the Quick Start Guide didn't mention the admin login. The VoIP Technical Reference did, however. Overall though, a great product. The "swiss army knife" of home networking.
