(More customer reviews)I've used this product for the past two years in Sierra Leone and other parts of West Africa. Since there is virtually no electricity in Sierra Leone, power is produced by generators which are notoriously unstable: several laptops and other pieces of equipment in my office were ruined by surges, including one laptop whose power box actually blew up (sending pieces to all four corners of the room!) and a printer that spewed sparks during the surge. With the CyberPower, my laptop never had a problem!
