(More customer reviews)This UPS worked right out of the box as advertized. I am running Windows XP Home so I had to download the software from the APC Web Site. Installed without a hitch. Software is very easy to use and tells you everything that you would want to know about the status of the UPS. I am running my tower, monitor and all peripherals from the UPS. This draws an average of 185 watts which gives me 12 minutes of backup. I setup the software to 'shutdown' my PC after 3 minutes of a power outage. During a test it did exactly as advertized.
