The surge protector came in damaged from the factory. The power supply cord was pulled away from the body of the surge protector. Guess these guys have no factory inspections or quality control. It was a nice looking surge protector but did not want to chance another Cyberpower purchase. Sent the item back and received a refund.

I am happy with this surge protector. The outlets are concealed, the cord management keeps things neat, and it has enough space for the big transformers (power bricks). The extra outlet on the outside is also handy. I would have preferred black instead of white, but that's a minor gripe.

Bought one for my Dad for his computer a while back. Lightening hit a tree next to his house and a fork jumped to his roof (blew a bunch of shingles off). It ruined his TV, phone, a couple of radios and a bunch of lights. Ruined the surge protector too but it did its job, his computer was fine. Tripp Lite replaced the surge protector for free. A great product.

BELKIN BE112230-08 12-OUTLET HOME/OFFICE SURGE PROTECTOR WITH COAXIAL/TELEPHONE/MODEM PROTECTION Review

BELKIN BE112230-08 12-OUTLET HOME/OFFICE SURGE PROTECTOR WITH COAXIAL/TELEPHONE/MODEM PROTECTION
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Brief evaluation
----------------
This surge protector allows for up to 12 devices, including 6 'wide' DC adapters to be plugged in. It will protect them against power surges and, in addition, it can protect one Ethernet/phone line (RJ-45) and one coax wire if they are connected to pass through the Belkin surge protector.
My personal experience does validate the claims the manufacturer makes for the features that I am using and I can verify at this time. Currently, I have 9 devices plugged into the surge protector, including 5 DC adapters and 4 2/3-prong plugs. All of the 3 remaining slots are unobstructed and could be used for one additional power adapter and 2 more plugs.
This surge protector replaces 2 older and smaller surge protectors and a one-to-six plug multiplier.
So far, I am happy and, in my opinion and based on its meeting real needs, good design, features and low price I recommend it as (in my view) one of the best it its class.More details
------------
The following are noteworthy, in my view.
Positives:
+ TRUE 12-outlet capacity. Unlike the traditional surge-protected power strips where one beefy AC adapter would cover 2 slots, Belkin's device truly accommodates 6 AC adapters and allows for 6 more plugs to fit in.
+ 'Protected' green light (must be on) provides assurance that the surge protector is operational. When the green light stays off it usually means that the surge protector 'expired' while protecting your device from a power surge and it must be replaced ASAP. [The Belkin warranty promises a free replacement under its warranty terms if you meet the requirements and, it seems, you pay for shipping the damaged unit to Belkin and, possibly, the new unit to you. That's likely to add up to the price of buying a new unit from Amazon and, if you factor in the hassle, probably not worth it.]
+ 'Not grounded' red light (must be off) will warn you when there's something wrong. Belkin's warranty won't apply if the light was on when your devices got fried. I don't know if for a fact but I assume they have a way of telling if that was the case.
+ 10 ft. long cord. This is very important to me and it was one of the criteria that had to be met when I ordered this item.
+ 90 degree plug allows you to easily plug it into a busy 4-plugs wall outlet.
+ Clip for cable management. I find it useful.
+ Thin (one inch) and flat shape. Stands well on a table or on the floor.
+ Telephone and coax cable pass through for surge protection. I don't use these but I'm surprised that something this inexpensive has them. Even better, the phone jacks come covered with some sealing foil and, if you don't use them, they stay near invisible. They are so well hidden, it took me some time to actually find them.
[NOTE: The 'phone' jacks are RJ-45 (Ethernet), not RJ-11 (phone). I know that you can plug an RJ-11 connector into an RJ-45 receptacle and I believe that's okay but I did NOT test this feature on this surge protector.]
Negatives:
- Other than encouraging the unrealistic expectation that Belkin would pay you op to $300,000 on connected equipment warranty, I can't think of anything bad.
Warranty
--------
On a scale of 1 to 10, where 1 is a worthless warranty and 10 is one that's unbelievably generous, Belkin's should be somewhere around 2 or 3 - 95% of all warranties on devices this cheap are likely to be a 1.
They do promise to replace the item if it sacrifices itself while protecting your devices for as long as you can prove that you didn't do anything stupid, you have a purchase receipt and you ship the damaged item to Belkin at your own expense. It's not clear if they will charge you for shipping you back a new item. This may or may not be something worth pursuing. My impression is that you are not going to save a lot of money to get a 'free' replacement from Belkin and you are likely to waste a lot of time in the process. I'd probably buy myself a new one if the one I have now stopped working but it's good to know that they do have a 'lifetime' warranty. By 'lifetime' they mean the natural life of the product but 'natural life' is not precisely defined.
As far as being reimbursed for damage to devices that this surge protector was expected to protect, my impression is that you are not likely to get much if anything unless you can afford a lawyer and you are willing to sue. You have to meet a long series of requirements that are expressed in several paragraphs of techno-legalese.Rating
------
I will have to repeat myself stating that, in my view, this is one of the best in its class. At the claimed 4156 Joules of surge protection, my devices should be pretty safe and the price is right. I could have and maybe I should have removed one star from the over hyped "$300,000 connected equipment warranty" statement printed on the box but... as sad as it is, everybody does it and Belkin's warranty is better than most so, I am awarding 5 stars on an item that inexpensively addressed real issues I had with protecting many devices clustered in a corner of my basement.
________________________________________________________
Disclaimer:
I would call myself the opposite of a Belkin shill. After reading the news stories concerning some Belkin employees' attempts at promoting their wares at Amazon via employee-written reviews and other unethical practices I tended to stay away from the Belkin brand. In this instance, the price and the promised features were hard to resist and, to my surprise, I am very happy with my purchase.

Belkin F9H601aCW Wall Mount Surge Protector (White) Review

Belkin F9H601aCW Wall Mount Surge Protector (White)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Well, I talked to an electrician about this and I realized that it does not really matter if the mount is drawing power from two inputs or one input, as the two plug points that we see on the faceplate 'often' on the same circuit and same switch.
There are instances however (one I know for sure exists in my home) where two plug points are on different circuits and one of them is controlled by switch and one is not and always hot.
So, I have decided to keep this and NOT return any more.
Still, due to poor documentation and lack of picture showing from the backside, I drop a star.
----------- Old review ------------
Watchout this does not accept two inputs even though it takes all the space.
The documentation never claimed any where that it is doing so. But one would think that it is taking input from both plug points that it covers to give you 6 outputs.
I wish they make it clear to the buyers by showing the picture from the other side as well.
Other similar product which I do not remember where I bought it, accepts both inputs and each one covers 3 on each side. I am planning to use ALL 6 inputs all the time. So, not sure what difference it would make to have all 6 plugged to one input versus 3 each on to each one of the inputs.
But now I am returning this product. I wish they make it clear to us before we buy it and go through the hassle of returning it.

Tripp Lite Network Dataline DTEL2 2-Line RJ11 RJ45 Protector Modem/Fax/Tel Review

Bought two, one to protect a modem and one to protect a DSL card. Some phone line surge protectors don't work DSL, they filter out the higher frequencies used by DSL. This is NOT the case with this surge protector, my DSL works just fine through it! If you want a high quality, professional grade phone line surge protector for a reasonable price, this is it!

Belkin Concealed Surge Protector Review

Belkin Concealed Surge Protector
Average Reviews:

I like the idea, but my two year old broke the thing 2 seconds out of the box. The tiny (and I mean tiny) little plastic hinges holding the door on don't stand a chance. On top of that, the plastic hinge that's supposed to hold the door closed doesn't have any strength, and my bundle of cords kept popping it open. I bought two of them so had an extra. Needless to say I'm keeping the thing now that I have it. It's a good idea, and mostly works, but could definitely use some stronger binding pieces.

This sits under my monitor and provides an up close and easy way to turn on my system. I can selectively turn off parts of the system such as printers and speakers while leaving the computer and monitor in the on state. It also provides additional electrical surge protection which is needed here in Florida with our ligtening storms. Highly recommended, and it is an excellent value.

This is a great item, works great for the tv and PS3 in my bedroom. Be aware though, there are two ground prongs on the back of the plug, it will require both spaces on a duplex receptacle.

When It Comes To Protecting Your AV Equipment From Power Disturbances It's All or Nothing.Gone are the days when everybody was huddled in one room to watch the TV or the latest video release. With all spare TVs and VCRs people own today, you can consider just about any room in the house an entertainment hub.If you have an extra TV, VCR, or perhaps powered speakers, remember, they need surge protection. Just like the equipment you use in your "main" entertainment area, these components are vulnerable to power surges that can damage their ability to perform, or cripple them entirely.Monster's A/V PowerCenterAV200 Provides The Most Complete Power Protection for Your Components. With Monster's Audio/Video PowerCenterAV200, you can place your TV, powered speakers, or VCR in a separate location away from your main system and still be protected from power surges (with a high 1110 joule rating). Monster's Dual Mode Plusdesign is the heart of AV200's superior surge protection. Here's how it works. When a surge, or other excessively high voltage, hits the wires that carry power to your equipment, Metal Oxide Varistors (MOVs) will limit the voltage forwarded to the connected equipment to a safe level. Then, if that voltage is high for too long, a thermal fuse will disconnect the line wire from the connected equipment permanently. This assures that the connected equipment will not be exposed to any damaging high voltages.AV200 also features Monster's stage 1 Clean Powerfilters to prevent AC power pollution from degrading performance, so you get better sound and picture.Maximum Performance and Protection In A Compact, Affordable Audio/ Video PowerCenter.AV200 features the same features found in many of Monster's popular, full - sized Home Theatre PowerCenters in a unit that's smaller than many remote controllers!Pick up an AV200 today and discover the benefits of Monster Power Protection.

Belkin 7-Outlet Home/Office Surge Protector with 6' Cord Review

A lightning strike too close to home last week took out another surge protector in my house, but the Belkin 7-Outlet Home/Office Surge Protector with 6' Cord was unfazed. WOW! I am ordering another to replace the fried one.
Also , I really like the flat plug because all my outlets seem to be behind big heavy furniture (like bookcases). It doesn't really matter to me which side the cord comes out. I just loop it around the plug behind the bookcase and all of a sudden the cord is aimed in the right direction and the bookcase can still go snug up against the wall.
